Dr. Asha S Vijay graduated from the prestigious Bangalore Medical College of Medicine and served as a senior resident with the Kidwai Institute of Oncology, Bangalore. In 1996, she received her post-graduate degree in Obstetrics & Gynecology from Bangalore Medical College at Bangalore University.

In 1998, while working with KIMS Hospital Bangalore, she received her New Delhi National Board Diplomate. She was subsequently appointed to the post of Gazetted Medical Officer by the Govt of Karnataka at the ESI Corporation of India, Rajajinagar, Bangalore. From 1998 to 2003, she was with the ESI company. Then she moved over to begin her own practise.

On behalf of SANNIDHI, she began her clinic and gained enormous experience in the field of Gynecology & Infertility. Dr. Asha S Vijay started her own hospital-SANNIDHI SPECIALITY CENTRE-with the utmost admiration of the patient community and the Medical Fraternity, looking at the overwhelming response and need for quality and affordable healthcare in the field of OBG and with the aim of serving society. Sannindhi hospital has now become a multi-specialty hospital and is a well-known name in Bangalore’s Hanumanthnagar-Srinagar-Girinagar belt.

Dr. Asha S Vijay realised the gravity and depth of the infertility problem in India during the care of countless patients in the field of OBG. She was able to recognise the increasing need for a super-specialized Artificial Reproductive Health (ART) centre and then opened a full-fledged fertility centre in the heart of Bengaluru called the GarbhaGudi IVF Center.
